I am proud to announce that I was distinguished with a CIMA Teaching Excellence Award by the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) at the first-ever CIMA Excellence Awards virtual ceremony on 11 December 2020. This award recognizes a CIMA subject lecturer who has demonstrated excellent engagement with CIMA students and effectively helped them to enhance their understanding of the subject taught.
My message to the audience of the inaugural virtual celebration (December 2020)
My award category is “Country winner” for Europe. Country winners for UK and Ireland are Fiona Dearing (Manchester Metropolitan University, UK), Nadeeka Withanage (London South Bank University, UK), Alison Lane (University of South Wales, UK), and Margaret Saunders (Birmingham City University, UK). The Global Champion is Nadia Gulko (Lincoln International Business School, University of Lincoln, UK). It’s a great honour to be in such a distinguished company.
